Toby Middlemist

Toby Middlemist is a student at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is reading BA International History.

Interests

Toby is particularly interested in how globalisation, urbanisation, and the energy transition are affecting rural communities. Pembrokeshire, Toby's birthplace and home, is a microcosm of these tensions.

 He is also interested in commercial and public law and aims to practise at the Bar.

Academics and Achievements

Toby studied A-level History, English Literature, Government and Politics and the Welsh Baccalaureate at Haverfordwest High VC School, achieving A*A*A*A. He studied Government and Politics independently in 9 months, attaining an A*, including full marks (150/150) in Unit 3: Political Concepts and Theories.
